The Norty Story

As a chef and a vegan, Ellie was passionate about simple, delicious and nutritious food. However, she struggled to find plant-based snacks to keep her energised during her busy schedule so began whipping up vegan treats to munch on throughout the day.

Before long Ellie started selling these treats at local markets and to independent cafes and delis, but her small-scale production just couldn’t fill the demand.

So in 2018 Ellie moved to a new kitchen in Bristol and has been making nut butters, drink blends and pudding pots ever since!
